Walibi Belgium, which was hit hard by the July 16 floods, expects a reopening for early October with the start of the Halloween season.
The Walibi and Aqualibi parks have been closed since July 16 due to severe flooding, which damaged much of the site’s technical infrastructure.
Today Walibi announced plans to reopen in early October, just in time to save the Halloween season.
Our teams have been working relentlessly for days to repair the damage left by the floods. Now that the extent of the work is a little clearer, we know that we will not be able to open the park before October. But… we are taking on the challenge of getting the park ready for the Halloween season. We want to celebrate this reopening with the most spectacular Halloween event ever seen at Walibi. A considerable challenge for our teams, but we are going for it!
